109th and 110th sessions of the Assembly
The 109th session of the Assembly of the Croatian Shipowners' Association Mare Nostrum was held on February 25, 2022, at the premises of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport, and Infrastructure.
As the new Labor Act is in the draft, the status of seafarers needs to be determined. Also, the Association will be involved in amendments to the Accounting Act following the Strategy for the Adoption of the Euro.
Due to extraordinary circumstances between Ukraine and Russia, at the 110th electronic session of the Association, in agreement with the Croatian Seafarers' Union, a decision was made to accept the text for Amendments to the National Collective Agreement for Third Countries Seafarers on board of Croatia flag vessels in the International Shipping Trade (2021-2022).

Fourth Steering Committee meeting of the GUTTA Project
The fourth meeting of the Steering Committee of our GUTTA project was held in November 2021. On All project partners participated as well as the European Maritime Safety Agency and the French National Center for Scientific Research.
At the meeting we presented the achievements, GUTTA-VISIR and what should we expect in the coming period.

RELEASE OF THE GUTTA VISIR
We are delighted to announce that our Lead Project Partner, Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) has developed the GUTTA tool for ferry eco-routes, which is called GUTTA-VISIR: https://www.gutta-visir.eu/
This is a milestone achievement of GUTTA!
GUTTA-VISIR also offers (presently) not existing routes (such as Zadar-Barletta) and it even contributes to SO3 "To facilitate the establishment of at least one new CB maritime link, after COVID-19 pandemic".

GUTTA-VISIR is not perfect, of course, and we are aware of a few bugs we still have to fix.
